Hello, to All

      Gruvology would like to introduce a new project just started by the band and Liz Mariani. This is an experience where artist collide and jazz meets poetry. On May 17 2008 we had our first show at Cafe Allegro and it was a great time. The poets words and vibe were fantastic and the music fitting. There were two poets Liz and Nikki Germany. Next soundverb will take place on June 28, 2008 at the Colored Musicians Club at 9pm. Come out and join us, don't miss it!!

Think Twice Radio

Hi Everyone,

    Gruvology in proud to introduce a great online radio station called Think Twice Radio. On May 8. 2008 Gruvology was interviewed, in the studio by Susan Marie. It set the tone for artist of Buffalo to make a push in the city,and to give more integrity and creativity in their work. We discussed the band and upcoming engagements. Gruvology had its first interview on the radio. It was a exciting to let the jazz community ,of WNY, know that we are out there. Although, we interviewed for 20 minutes, only 10 of that made the Radio. What was edited out of the interview was the fact that gruvology as a band tries to creat music that has substance. The importance of creativity has been lost in music of today. We strive to give the audience somthing new every time we play, either a coffee house gigor a concert. We try to bring the same intensity from gig to gig. We thank the listeners for there support. CD Release!

Gruvology, jazz grooves, moods +  enjoyed gorgeous summer weather when we released our debut disc entitled "1st set."  The host for this event was TruTeas! at 810 Elmwood Avenue in the heart of Elmwood Village, Buffalo, NY.  Several discs were sold and you 'll be able to get one here!
